Get Well Notes - Tips

This section has some thank you note wording samples for get well wishes and gifts you have received. You can adapt or use the wording samples in the other occasion sections as well.

When it comes to illness or other health issues, there are several situations where thank you notes are appropriate, including:
• Friends or co-workers who visited you in the hospital
• Friends or co-workers who sent get well gifts
• Friends who visited you at home
• Friends who lent household help, such as cooking or bringing dinners
• Medical professionals who went above and beyond their jobs
• Anyone who offered emotional support and understanding

Saying thanks to your loved ones, co-workers, family, and friends who sent gifts, wished you well, helped you out, or came to visit during a recent illness or hospital stay will leave a lasting impression and make you feel good.
